We had our Texas friend, Sandy Boone, visiting for the weekend.  We all spent Friday night at the Lincolnton house where Shirley's mom and dad had lived and then went to the Lake Norman Folk Art Festival on the lake on Saturday morning.

By mid-afternoon, we continued making our way back to Lexington, but we made a planned stop at the Autumn Jubilee at Dan Nicholas Park near Salisbury to catch a musical set by one of our favorite Carolina beach music bands, Too Much Sylvia.

Then on to Lexington for Saturday night.

Sunday morning is for getting our "stuff" together for the trip to Miller park in Winston-Salem.  We played for about five hours then finished the weekend at The Loop, a nice pizza place just a mile or so from the park.

Nice time.  We love having Sandy visit.
