Crowds starting to pick up in Winston-Salem

We had four courts of play going most of the day yesterday. As the weather begins to improve--springtime in the Carolinas is just around the corner--we hope to have four or more courts going more often.

We were happy to have Goyo and Jen Martinez spend a couple of days with us in Lincolnton. Though they live in Myrtle Beach SC,, we hope to see more of them this year in and around the Carolinas.

Indoor (soft boules) petanque in Winston-Salem

 

We have small, but enthusiastic, groups of players each Tuesday at the Hanes Hosiery Community Center in Winston-Salem.

We're looking for new players to try this challenging game with us, so why not join us sometimes?  We have all the necessary equipment, and everyone is invited.

Play starts at 1:00 PM.

3rd Saturday in Raleigh

 

I'm a little late getting this picture posted to the blog, but here is the Raleigh group on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Bob and Kaye continue to do a great job organizing play at the Wine Authorities located at 211 E Franklin St, Raleigh, NC.

They play on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 10:30 AM.
