Sunday play at Miller Park

 

Despite having to compete with the NFL football conference championship games and coping with the return of winter-like weather, we had a good turnout for Sunday play at Miller Park.

Friday in GSO

I think Friday, Jan 26. 2024, may have been the first time that Shirley and I joined the regular Friday afternoon crowd at Tanger Gardens. We took advantage of a break in the weather to play.
 

Soft Boules: Winston-Salem 1/23/2024

 

Cool, rainy weather is no problem for indoor play at Hanes Hoisery Community Center located at 501 Reynolda Bouleverd in Winston-Salem.

Coldest day of 2024 play to date--Miller Park

 

Despite a day where the temperatures ranged from about 31F to 39F during our afternoon, we had 15 players show up--better than we expected!

Among those were three new recruits from Friday's Piedmont Plus Senior Games Kickoff event. Julie and Joan Marie played while Russ came and watched for awhile with a promise to return for play soon.
