Here early in the Carolinas for the upcoming Lexington Barbecue Festival tournament are Don E. Baker (Dayton, Ohio) along with Earl and Pam Lovell (Buda, Texas). We were all planning to play at the regular Thursday afternoon session in Morganton, but our contacts there informed us that play was cancelled because of rain and terrain conditions.

Lincolnton, North Carolina, is about forty miles southeast of Morganton and we have a court there at what used to be Shirley's parents home before they passed away. Conditions in Lincolnton were okay, so the five of us got to play after all.

The three of us guys played two long, close (reasonably so) games against the two ladies. I don't remember who won.😀
