At the Reeds
Dan and Erin Medary, friends of Carolina Petanque members Rusty&Marcia Reed, have played our game at the beautiful Deep Gap, NC, mountain terrain that Rusty built-- practically right on the side of a mountain. While Rusty and Marcia are wintering in Florida, the NC mountains are getting their usual amount of snow, The Medarys took advantage of the photo opportunity and made a few snapshots to show Rusty and Marcia what they're missing. I'm not sure how playing petanque with snowballs worked out for them (look closely at the first picture and you'll see the "boule" at the left of the frame), but it looks as though it must have been fun!
