We had some new players yesterday at Miller Park.  Kirk Edwards' mom, Kaye Taliana, and her husband Ron joined us for the first time.  Shirley's brother Bill Rhyne was also there.  We're always glad to have new players and hope their first petanque experience with the gang at Miller Park was a good one.

Kirk, Bo, Uijin, and Lauren made the trip down from the mountains to play.  We're always happy to see them and yesterday was no exception.  Kirk and Bo were doing a little tuning up for next weekend's trip to Zanesfield, Ohio, to play with Bo Johns and the rest of the Zanesfield group.

And let's not forget to thank the locals for supporting play.  In addition to Shirley and myself, we had Bob Moyer, Fred Marchant, Bob Pelc, and Pam Pelc.

In addition to a good afternoon on the courts, several of us traveled on to the Fox and Hound for a little sustenance after play.  (Thanks, Bob M. for treating Shirley and myself!)
