We weren't sure how many people would turn out for Easter Sunday play at Miller Park in Winston-Salem, but it ended up being one of our largest groups in quite a while. I think we had 23 (?) players enjoying the beautiful spring weather and having a lot of fun.
Nick, Carol, and Laura joined us all the way from Asheville for their first play on the Miller Park Courts. Laura and Carol plan to play in the upcoming Women's Doubles Mid-America Regional, so they were making an exploratory visit.
As I've previously posted, Rick and Maggie were visiting from Leesville (SC), and were also part of our crowd. Marc and Kathy came from Hickory again as well.
New players Mike, Chonni, and Jacob joined us for their first time playing. Great to have them! BTW, it wasn't actually Chonni's first time playing as she played in Thailand as a child.
