Thursday, October 20, 2016, was the day we spent the early afternoon measuring, hammering, stringing, raking, and preparing in general the baseball infield at Finch Park located at 15 Paul Beck Rd in Lexington, NC. Many thanks to all those who came out to help.
Then, in the evening, some of us gathered at the Village Grill for dinner, followed by a free concert by Jim Quick and the Coastline Band at one of Lexington's outside stages erected for The Barbecue Festival.
It was a good start to the week's festivities.
