Sunday Session at Georgia Taylor

We had a nice turnout again Sunday at Georgia Taylor Recreation Center (Griffith Park) in Winston-Salem.  Guntram Propst, the artist who is doing the illustrations for Bob Moyer's haiku, was there from Germany.  Their show runs through the 10th at Inter_Section Gallery downtown.

Teng, Mai, and their daughter, Serenity, drove over from Newton for the first time in a while.  Teng and Mai are such good players and so friendly and personable that we're always happy to see them.  They add a lot to our group.

Joe and Catherine were back for the first time in a while.  They are playing extremely well these days.  Between Joe's shooting and Catherine's pointing, they are going to be a team to be reckoned with this season.

It was Barb's weekend off, so she and Rom were there too.  Rebekah, Nelson, Bob, Fred, James, Kerry, Shirley, and I rounded out the group.  Unless I forgot someone, we had sixteen.  Since Terry and Sue are in Spain and Danny and Sue were traveling, that's a good turnout.

Still, we miss Kirk, Bo, Parker, Kristi, Cruz, Linnea, Mary Hazel, Joseph, Kaye, Marc, Juan, Kathy, Susanne, Tom, Carol, Khalid, Michael M, Angela, Stump, Cheryl, Francois, Michael W, Don E, Walt, Earl, Alex,Steve, Frank, Denyse, Larry, Marcia, Rusty, Ronnie, Anne, Ed, Rick, Maggie, Bobby, and Peggy when they're not there.  Hope to see them all again soon, but we're on our way to Texas to see the family and won't be back in the Carolinas until May 27.

Come out and support the group while we're away if you can.

Best wishes to everyone,
Gary and Shirley
