Dear Carolina Petanque Members:
We would like to cordially invite you to
our annual Spruce Pine Invitational Petanque Tournament and Backyard
Party on July 7th 2012. Please RSVP by June 30th
if you will be attending so we can plan on the number of teams and

12:00 – 1:00 Lunch (Hot dogs and
sides)
1:00 – 4:00 Three qualifying rounds
of 45 minutes each
4:00 – 5:00 Dinner (BBQ and sides)
5:00 – 9:00 Finals
You are welcome to play in the morning
and into the evening on Saturday as well.
We provide a place to play, food, and
sodas.
What to bring:
Beverage of your choice (We do not
provide adult beverages)
Chair
Sunscreen
Hat
Boules
Items to note:
- This is as much a social event as it is a tournament and you will probably play with or against someone with very little petanque experience. Please be patient.
- The tournament is at our house and we have two courts therefore you will probably be playing in the grass at some point.
- Doubles tournament with a random draw for teams.
