The 20 triples teams played five qualifying rounds (Swiss Hotel System) on Saturday. It's a little unusual to have a two-day Regional, but CCPC had no trouble selling out the available ten courts, so it seems to have been a wise choice.
There were six teams that finished with W4-L1 records on Saturday. Three of the six were from Carolina Petanque!
John W/Max/Shirley ranked #2; Kirk/Bo/Parker #4; and Marc/Juan/Kathy #6. Carolina had a total of 13 players participating.
