Zanesfield Petanque Club held their Buck a Boule tournament over the weekend and Carolina Petanque sent three representatives to play. Kirk, Bo, and Parker Edwards not only played, but they swept the First and Second place awards!

The tournament format calls for "teams" of either one player with six boules, two players with three boules each, or three players with two boules each. Kirk/Bo chose to play as a team of two and ended up in first place. Parker partnered with ZPC player Mitch McCune and ended up in second place. That's a great showing for Carolina!

As the brackets photo above shows, there were ten "teams" participating. There were three players playing as Singles, five teams of Doubles, and two teams of Triples-- a total of nineteen players. Four clubs were represented. Boules de Leon from Florida had two players, Larry and Lori Beth Creasy. Newark Petanque from Ohio had three players, Goyo ('Cruz"), Nacho, and Noe. Carolina Petanque had three players, Kirk, Bo, and Parker. The other eleven players were all from ZPC. They were Driss, Ron, Mitch, Shannon, Ruby, Lucy, Bo J, Mike F, Joan, Mike M, and Melanie.

Congratulations to all. Sorry we missed it!
