Thursday saw some of the early arrivals practicing at Catawba River Sport Complex in Morganton, NC. We had Larry, Lori Beth, Roy, and Michelle from St. Augustine, FL, along with Al and Heidi from Athens, GA. Additionally, Rick and Maggie were up from Leesville, SC, and Earl and Pam from Austin, TX.
Quite a few locals also turned out to play. The 2019 Mid-America Select Doubles is on Saturday and Sunday.
