Shirley and I were in the early stages of a western road trip with our friends Danny, Sue, their granddaughter Hanna, Donnie, and Gladys when we interrupted our RV caravan in Billings, Montana, to fly to Sacramento for a petanque tournament in Sonoma, California. Actually, our caravan had not yet formed since the rest of the entourage had not yet arrived in Billings when we flew out.

Anyway, these are some day one pictures of our Sonoma interlude.
