Trying to make Nevin Park work
We spent about three hours raking, shoveling, and moving fine gravel screenings around at Nevin Park in Charlotte. The old bocce courts we play on are just too soft for petanque, so we hoped that raking off some of the loose, dusty stuff might allow us a firmer, more playable area. Maybe a little better, but still not good. we'll try to work with the park to see if there may be more we can do.
