that he's been having tournaments on a regular basis each Wednesday night at the Cafe Karibo in Amelia Island, Florida, and realizing that it was only a little over a thousand miles away, we decided to make the trip. So, we played our usual six hours or so with the Heart of Texas group on Sunday and took off for Florida on Monday morning. It was well worth the drive. If you find yourself within a thousand miles or so, you should make the trip!

Glad to hear that you made it to your FL destination by Wednesday night considering it was nearly mid-day when you left TX on Monday! :) I think that your (now THREE) grandchildren are already suffering withdrawals from their "Nanny and Pa-Pa Jones"! Ha! Maybe we can all "Skype" soon... Lynda.
