Senior Games play

Number One and Number Two overall for the day: Mike and Gail
For the second year, Carolina Petanque joined forces with Chuck Vestal and the fine folks of Winston-Salem Parks and Rec to participate in their Piedmont Plus Senior Games. We had fifteen participants this year and a three-game panache (random teams each game) format.

Though Piedmont Plus recognizes several different age brackets and also awards medals to best males and best females in each of the brackets (see the first picture above) we'd like to recognize Carolina Petanque members Mike House and Gail Turner as the top two overall performers. They each won all three of their games and Mike edged out Gail on point differential to claim the number one spot for the event.

Great job, everyone!
