Shirley, Kirk, and I held our last club board meeting of 2017 prior to the afternoon's play (Bob and Rebekah were not able to be there.) Among topics discussed were the election of new officers, creation of area coordinators, club assets, re-write of club by-laws, Regional and Club tournaments for 2018, promotion of new areas of play, creation of a club website, fund raising, marketing, and new player development.
We had a great turnout of players and kept both courts busy throughout the afternoon and evening and into the night. Many thanks to the Edwards family for hosting and providing food and refreshments for the group.
