 There were 26 players competing in Combined (Select) Singles. Mean and women were all part of the same draw. Morning 3-game qualifying rounds sent16 players to the Concours and 10 to the Consolante. The results were:

Concours:

Gold- Roland (Sactown); Silver- Shannon (ZPC); Bronze- Goyo (Carolina Petanque)

Consolante:

Winner- Abdel Kader (ZPC); Second-Liudmila (National Capital Club de Petanque); Third- Shirley (Carolina Petanque)

There was a post-tourney pointing contest. Medalists were Carla (Carolina Petanque), Tracie (Carolina Petanque) and winner Bill (Boulefrogs from VA).
