A great 4th of July doing the Red, White, and Boules Petanque Panache Saturday in Miller Park. There were 30 players competing in the heat to win prizes. Folks from Greensboro, Raleigh, Mooresville, Charleston S.C., and Columbia S.C. joined our regular Camel City Petanquers to make the perfect holiday. Also had a few locals walk ups try our game. Started at 10 am. Grilled hot dogs and ice cream were to be had at lunch. Finished panache at about 3 pm, then off to Rom and Barbs house to end the day playing cards... in the AC. Congratulations to the winners.

At the end of the day Jim Clapper grabbed First Place 🥇,
I got Second Place 🥈, Jesse Israel was
Third🥉, Tina Currie Fourth 🥉,
Holly Israel Fifth🥉, and Janet Torrico
Sixth Place🥉. That gives Greensboro three players of the
top players, out of 30, to bring home medals and a 250th Anniversary
silver 50-cent collector coin. Congratulations to everyone who survived the 100
degree day.
See you on the courts,
John
