We had a good turnout for Sunday play on an afternoon that began with a chance of storms that never materialized. It was especially enjoyable to have Jane bring her daughter and granddaughter out to play. Hope we'll see them again soon.

6/25 at Catawba River Complex in Morganton

Greensboro crowds consistently around 15 to 20 on Wednesday mornings.
 
 

Miller Park in Winston-Salem (Father's Day 2022)

 

Temperatures only reached the high 70s yesterday at Miller Park. Just about perfect. We had Danny, Sue, and Mike spend the night in Lexington on Saturday night after Charlotte play, so the five of us traveled to Winston on Sunday.

Rather than eat lunch somewhere on the way, we decided to make it a picnic at the park, Simple fare--bratwurst on the grill--but a great way to spend Father's Day which also coincided with Juneteenth.

Good games with good friends. Twenty-one (21) players!

Nevin Park Play--3rd Saturday of each month

 

We play each month on the 3rd Saturday at Nevin Park in Charlotte. Just follow the signs towards the horseshoe pits. 6000 Statesville Rd.

Roscoe

Impromptu play for those close enough to Lincolnton to come on short notice. Danny, Sue, and Mike stayed over in order to play in Charlotte on Saturday.

Max, Tracie, Marc, Juan, and Kathy came to join us.
