Senior Games Kick-off for 2022

 

 

 

Shirley, Rom, John, and Fred represented petanque at the Winston-Salem Piedmont Plus 2022 Senior Games kick-off. We'll let you know when play is scheduled.

Greensboro play on 02/10/2022

 

We were six players for first-time-in-2022 play in Greensboro.

February 6, 2022, at Miller Park in Winston-Salem

 Much like Punxsutawney Phil and his shadows prediction of the end of winter weather, Gary was spotted at Miller Park this past Sunday for his first game there in 2022 wearing long pants. Knowing Garys affinity for shorts year round it can only mean one thing... 6 more weeks winter weather. 

That being said, Tess and I will be at Miller this Sunday bundled up hoping to dodge the rain at 1 pm tomorrow a few hours before the Super Bowl kickoff. Come out and grab a game or two weather permitting. 

Preston

Shirley and I are back from Texas and ready to ramp up play in the Carolinas for the winter season. Sunday play.

Shirley and I held a meeting with a group of interested Texas players and spent a couple of hours discussing the FPUSA rules and interpretations. It was a lively discussion. Thanks to them for taking the time!
