For the second year in a row, Carolina Petanque will have a player on the Women's Team USA! Bo Edwards, with her teammates Jeanne-Marie Browning, and Michelle Healy won the title in play at Amelia Island defeating Juanita Celix, Julie Jo Fehrle, and Angela Gleason. Carolina Petanque also placed a woman on the third place  (tie) team. Rebekah Ricardo and her teammates Hedy Latimer and Honor Woodard tied with Christine Fadden, Janice Bissonnette, and Barbara Kongsbak for the Bronze Medal.

Carolina also had a third woman participating. Sue Wien played with Honor Woodard and Dominique but they did not medal this time around.
