The weather was fabulous, the games were hard-fought, and the competition was fierce.
The 48 doubles teams were slotted into three categories based upon their results ("Swiss Hotel" rankings) with the final qualifying round slotted for Sunday morning for one final seeding which would further break the 3 categories into the 6 categories for elimination rounds.
