Prep & practice--Friday at the Carolina Open

 

Friday saw the finishing touches applied to the 24 courts in prep for Saturday and Sunday play at the 3rd annual Carolina Petanque Open.

The first Open was in 2022 and maxed out the courts at RendezVous with 16 teams participating.

In 2023, the Open was held in Morganton and again maxed out the courts--this time with 32 teams participating.

This year the 2024 version of the Open was held at Mills River's Bold Rock Cidery with 24 temporary courts established to accommodate 48 teams.
