Some of us followed up the Men's National Triples weekend with petanque at Miller Park in Winston-Salem.
We were happy to welcome back to Miller Park our longtime friend Gregorio Martinez, along with his family, Jen, Alex, and AJ.
Some of you will remember "Goyo" by his nickname from years past--"Cruz."
There;s a good chance the Martinezes may be settling in the Myrtle Beach area in the near future. He's already rejoined Carolina Petanqe and joins the group of our most-accomplished tournament players.
John (along with Marc&Juan) won BRONZE in Saturday's National Men's Triples. And Goyo (along with Paublin&Rick) won the first place prize in the CONSOLANTE.
CONGRATULATIONS, guys!
