Medalists at the Men's National Triples Petanque in Morganton, NC: (L-R) Raymond Nielsen (SILVER), Jerry Miller (SILVER), Fredric Penaranda (GOLD), Bernard Martin (SILVER), Patrick Delpuech (GOLD), Jon Claessens (GOLD). Both teams from Florida clubs.

 

 

Carolina Petanque's own John Wilson, Juan Hernandez, and Marc Quilici (above) took the BRONZE medal; even though the best picture I've found has them facing the wrong way, they did earn and accept their medals. Our club is very proud to have a team who medaled--particularly in a NATIONAL event. Here is a face-forward pic of their team receiving yet another BRONZE medal at the recent Atlanta Select Triples event.
