The 2022
National Championships for Men's Singles and for Women's Singles were
held on Saturday. There were three morning qualifying rounds in each
of the two tournaments. Based upon the results, afternoon play was
divided into four categories.--Women's Concours, Men's Concours,
Women's Consolante, and Men's Consolante. Carolina Petanque had only two members competing in the Singles, but we had a number of members cheering them on. Cary Wien (Terry's son) competed in the Men's Consolante and Sue Wien competed in the Women's Concours.
