Though the wind was a little strong, the sun was shining and the temperatures reached the high 70s on Saturday, March 19, 2022, in Charlotte, NC, at Nevin Park.
We had a great turnout; I counted 19 before the day was over. We were particularly happy to have Michel, Bill, Dana, Dick, Dawn, Martin, Uijin, Bo, and Parker make the trip down from the high country (Asheville/Spruce Pine) to join Abdallah, Denyse, Mouhrite, Mike Owens, Eric, Kevin, Guillaume, Alexander, Shirley, and me for Nevin Park play.
Bill Cooke passed his umpire test for promotion to FPUSA Mid-America Regional umpire. CONGRATULATIONS, BILL!!!
