March 27th in Morganton, NC, at Catawba River Soccer (& Petanque!) Complex
We went up to Morganton to play and do a little work on the four terrains (16 courts) in anticipation of the May 8th and 9th Women's World Qualifier (WWQ) that will determine the Women's National Champions and qualify them for the next World Championships of Petanque in Thailand in November.

We made the trip back up to Morganton to take delivery of fifteen tons of gravel we plan to use to refresh the courts.

We began in earnest the process of spreading and compacting the #78 pea gravel (from Vulcan). Great weather for ducks, but maybe it will help the gravel to bind.
