The ladies had an abbreviated "compact" tournament at Amelia Island, FL, on Friday afternoon to kick of the tournament weekend for the largest gathering of petanque players in the United States.
I think they had 24 teams, and the final eight are pictured above. Carolina Petanque had one team in the quarter-finals. Nice job, Rebekah and Shirley!
The winners were Kasia Sliz and Chrissy Lion with Linda Motschiedler and Michelle Healy finishing second.
