| Gardening accident! |
There were eleven players yesterday in Morganton at the Collett Street Recreation Center for the inaugural session of Indoor Boules.
Jeff Stark, along with Petanque America, arranged the event, and it is my understanding that they plan to make it a regular Wednesday morning session.
If we can generate interest at any other venues, perhaps we'll be able to attract participants who've never tried petanque and have crossover players between indoor and outdoor play.
Indoor play will, of course, become more attractive as winter weather arrives in the Carolinas, especially in the western parts of our states where outdoor play is not always practical.
