Super Boules Sunday

 The Wiens, Terry and Sue, opened their High Rock Lake home and terrain to Carolina Petanque members and associates on Super Bowl Sunday. Unfortunately, the football game turned out to be not-so-super for Carolina fans as the Panthers lost to the Broncos 24-10.

On the other hand, Super Boules turned out great. Even though the temperature never got above the high 30s, we managed to play continuously from around 1:30 in the afternoon until the game came on at 6:30.

For football-- wait until next year! For petanque-- wait until next week!
