Our photographer |
A few days before we left for Florida to visit Terry and Sue (Wien) and go on our annual winter camping trip in warner climes, this is the way things looked in Lexington, NC, at our home bordering on Abbots Creek. The creek, which feeds into High Rock Lake, is always volatile after a few days of rain, but this is about as close as it's ever come to reaching our petanque court. There's still several feet of elevation, but it looks threatening in the photos.
Oh well-- out of sight, out of mind until springtime.
