When we arrived at Tanger Gardens for Monday afternoon play and were joined shortly by John and Mary Hayes, John made the statement that he almost hesitated to walk on the petanque terrain because of how nicely park personnel (probably David?) had raked the surface in anticipation of our afternoon play.

Besides the four of us, Tina, Cherri, and Preston were also there. And, a couple we had met the week before as we were leaving the park made their return for instruction on how to play. Shirley volunteered to instruct while we played triples.

Really good games-- come-from-behind wins were the order of the day.
