Best Carolina Petanque finish: Shirley and Sue won the silver medals, losing 13-12 in the FINALS to Gina (South Florida) and Shannon (Zanesfield, OH)

Bo Edwards with teammate Jeanne-Marie from Texas won the bronze medals (tie for third).

Earl won the silver in the National Select Doubles (tournament on Sunday for the teams that were eliminated from National Men's competition and National Women's competition after Saturday's play, plus any other teams choosing to enter-- total of thirteen teams).

Kirk and Parker and Kaye all played in the Sunday National Select Doubles but did not place.
