mini-Panache at Miller Park
The mini-Panache at Miller Park on August 7, 2022, drew a field of 16 players, so the tournament was run as a doubles competition.
We called it a "mini-Panache" due to the format of playing three qualifying rounds of 50 minutes plus 1 end, followed by going straight into a FINALS consisting of players ranked #1 & #2 versus #3 & #4 with everyone else being eliminated.
The rankings were as follows:
Tracie and Max ended up defeating John Wilson and Preston in the finals.13-4
ZPC Ohio Cup
Our friends at the Zanesfield Petanque Club in Ohio held their Ohio Cup Select Doubles tournament on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The club posted pictures on Facebook, some of which I've "borrowed" for this blog post.
