Visitors on Easter Sunday, 2022!

Sue in the circle

What a great looking group of young people!

Sue, Greg, Max, and Paul

We had 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 visitors and 1,2,3,4,5,6 "regulars" at Miller Park in Winston-Salem (2500 Queen St) for Easter Sunday play.

Or, I could say six visitors and seven members, because Max from Morganton could be counted either way.

Anyway, we had a LOT of visitors on Sunday which always makes us very happy. Paul brought his niece, Sue, and her husband Greg. We sure hope they had a good time, because we certainly enjoyed meeting them and hope they'll come back often.

Likewise to the group of four young people (I'm so sorry I never made it over to their games to get names) who came to the park after Easter services--still in their Easter finery. As it turns out, Fred found out that he and they had all attended the same Easter service but did not meet.

The young people were ably instructed in how to play our game by Tina and Shirley. They stayed for two long games (maybe Shirley was talking a little bit and not paying much attention to the one-minute rule?) and each pair won one game, so that turned out to be fortunate, even pairing.

I didn't get their stories, so don't know if they are local and we'll see them again, but I sure hope so.
