Wednesday morning play at Tanger Gardens. Gail and Eva joined the Greensboro crowd as well this particular week.

5/31/2026 Miller Park then East of Texas

After our normal Sunday afternoon play in Winston-Salem at Miller Park, a group of us drove over to East of Texas for supper.

We used to play there from time to time, but they have since converted their court into extra seating capacity. It's still a good place for Tex-Mex BBQ!

One we missed from 5/15

Shirley was deleting some pics from her phone and came across these from 5/15/2026 of play on our home court. We had received a call from Jim and Coleen Clapper asking if we'd like to get together.

Since Rick and Maggie were already coming over, we asked that the Clappers come our way.

Fun evening of petanque and Pegs&Jokers with friends!

The final day of the Carolina Challenge was "Twist" doubles--must play with a different partner than on Saturday!

5/23/2026 Mid-America Select Doubles

The Memorial Day weekend Carolina Challenge Petanque Tournament(s) continued on Saturday at Miller Park in Winston-Salem with the FPUSA Mid-America Select Doubles. There were 26 teams competing.

Three qualifying rounds resulted in the seeding of 16 teams to the Concours bracket while 10 teams were slotted into the Consolante bracket.
