In Asheville (9/14)

 

As mentioned in the prior post, Hank & Renee were up from Summerville, SC, to visit for a few days, so they played in Hickory on Tuesday and then in Asheville on Wednesday.

Michel's RendezVous restaurant had the usual good crowd of people--some for dinner, some for petanque, and even some for bocce.We were happy that Hank and Renee were able to work Asheville into their travel plans.

 Marc was generous enough to have afternoon play on his inside warehouse terrain on Tuesday, Sep. 13.

Joining the group for their first play as members were Hank Mauldin and wife Renee Barret, up from their Summerville, SC, home (near Charleston).

Though they're a little far away from any of our regular play venues, we hope they'll be able to visit from time-to-time.

We had to wait out one rain shower, but were able to get in a couple more games before the BIG rain shower that ended play around 4:30 on Sunday!
