Several new players at Miller Park yesterday

 

There was a lot going on yesterday afternoon at Miller Park in Winston-Salem. Joining us for Sunday play were Sarah, Don, Sophia, Shawn, and Roy--all new players, except Shawn who'd only played once before. The new Meet Up group, started by Rom and Preston, gets the credit for both Sarah and Don deciding to come out and play.

Marc and Kathy made the drive over from Hickory, while John came from the opposite direction from Greensboro. Tina drives all the way from Candor when she plays, which is almost every Sunday. Finally, Ed and Anne Shoaf, regular players in Charlotte, also joined us for Miller Park play.

One other important thing to report-- CONGRATULATIONS to John Wilson who took and passed his Club Umpire report yesterday. Well done, John!
