We played at Catawba River Soccer (and petanque!) Complex in Morganton for their weekly Thursday session.

It was great to see our friend Sandy Boone again for the first time in quite a while. I saw a post she had made on Facebook from Black Mountain, NC, and invited her to Morganton.

We had a great crowd of sixteen players!

Hank and Renee came up from their Summerville, SC, home to stay a few days at our Lincolnton house and play with the group in Morganton. Jane also joined us to practice some with Renee as the two of them plan to play as partners in the upcoming Mid-America Women's Doubles tournament in Winston-Salem.

The five of us played  Tuesday afternoon on our Lincolnton terrain.

Tess, Preston, Sue, and Danny joined Shirley and me for Saturday afternoon play on our home court in Lexington, NC.

Shirley forgot her phone! Luckily, Jane Cameron volunteered to take some photos between her games, and a young man from New York, Noah Bilerman, happened through the park taking nature-type photos but happened upon our large crowd and took numerous photos of the fun.
