If it's 3rd Saturday...

We try not to miss playing at Nevin Park (6000 Statesville Rd) in Charlotte on the third Saturday of each month. The Charlotte crowd does not often travel to any of our other regularly-scheduled play locations, so we don't get to see them too often.

They do turn out in good numbers for 3rd Saturday play even though the five courts at Nevin are not the best for petanque. They were originally made for bocce and are a little too soft for our game. Still, we really enjoy all the great people who come out to play  and always look forward to it.
