Happy Family (2/23/25)

Rheem, Mouhrite, & Mariam

Rob & Cherri

Max and Ed

Rom, Shirley, Jane

From Maiam

I believe Preston said there were 17 players (and Mariam, Rheem, and myself not playing) yesterday at Miller Park.

We were so happy to see little Rheem again for the first time in quite a while. My, how she has grown! Mourhite and Mariam must be so proud. Thanks to Mariam for making the visit and bringing a delicious fruit/custard platter.

Max and Ed made the drive down from Morganton to practice some for their upcoming trip to play with our friends Guy & Cathy Diebold and the rest of the gang down in Thibodeaux, Louisiana, in their upcoming open doubles tournament. It's sold out!

Also, we were glad to see Sara Pollino for the first time in a while. She's had some health issues, and we hope to see her frequently now that she is back.

I hope to join those who are playing sometime in the not-too-distant future. I'm getting another epidural steroid injection on Tuesday which should bring some relief from my pain being caused by spinal stenosis of the canal in the lumbar region.
