Bob took a couple of i-phone snaps of three new players who joined us on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Miller Park. Shown above are Jean-Francois, Hayden, and Sara.Jean-Francois had made contact through Philippe's Petanque America web site some time ago. We were very happy to have him join us. Not only that, but he brought along his friends Hayden and Sara who were first-time players of our game. We certainly look forward to seeing them all again soon.
The weather was spectacular for a February Carolina day. The temperature was near 60F and sunshine was abundant. There were eleven of us who were able to take advantage of the day and play for several hours without anyone complaining of the cold!
