Yes, they do play petanque in the rain. It looks as though it was quite wet for some of the early play. TEAM USA lost to Germany 4-13 in Round One; then, improved their score but still lost to Sweden in Round Two 7-13. Round Three was against Russia and, again the ladies lost by six; this time, 6-12.
