We ended our trip to Zanesfield by staying for the Memorial Day Parade and ceremony at the cemetery. The town turns out at 9:00 AM for a parade and follows with a long, half-mile walk to the cemetery for speeches and a 21-gun salute to those who have given their lives in service of their country. Nice blend of joy and sadness.
